I guess I was in a bit of a hurry and didn't notice that yes, the file I pointed out was in fact a Spotlight plugin. Let me try again... So, inside the package bundle, there's a Library folder, which has: A Spotlight plugin called "Corel Painter.mdimporter" in the Spotlight folder. A QuickLook plugin called "Corel Painter.qlgenerator" in the QuickLook folder. Also, this QuickLook plugin is not just for "Corel Painter Essentials 4" files, but for any "Painter" files. Files made with very old versions of Fractal Design Painter work just fine! Ah ha.
